Topshop hardly ever fails to impress, and the new Urban Traveller collection is no exception. The pieces are designed around Topshop's usual garments - an asymmetric hem dress, tapered jersey trousers and leather cuff sandals - yet are given an unusual twist drawing inspiration from countries such as Morocco, India and Central America when colour and exotic indivduality are born. Topshop has been criticised for dictating fashion, girls and women will where what's in Topshop because it has to be fashionable. I believe new season ranges like these are what Topshop is all about, it's affordable individual pieces that anyone can mix and match with heavy metallic jewellary and fringing to create a really great outfit, that is so different to anyone elses. It's ranges like these that encourage people to develop their own style and use their own judgement to see what would look good off the manekin. The key pieces for me have to be the red cork sandals (a very convincing lookalike found in KG), the pink tie dye stripe jersey trousers and the chunky light pink cornelli embroidered sheer sleeve blouse.
